UGJ Collaborates with MNC AM and MNC Securities, Stimulates Mutual Fund Literacy in the University

Jakarta, April 14, 2022 - Nowadays, investment is no longer a foreign item in society, especially with the advancement of the digital world today. Millennials and Gen Z, who are currently in their productive age, are slowly becoming aware of the importance of investing as a provision for the future.

Several ways are mostly done by financial institutions to increase literacy about the capital market in Indonesia. One of them is PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP) through its two business units, namely MNC Asset Management (MNC AM) and MNC Securities in collaboration with Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati (UGJ) Cirebon City, held a webinar on mutual funds, on Thursday, 14 April 2022.

The webinar was opened by Dekan of the UGJ Faculty of Economics, Dr. H. Acep Komara, Drs., SE., M.Si, in his speech, “This event is very good to increase knowledge and information about the investment world, especially mutual funds, because today we will get comprehensive knowledge directly from the experts.”

Helfa Helmy as Branch Manager of MNC Securities Bandung Branch, in his speech said, "Hopefully with this event, students can gain more knowledge about mutual funds and increase awareness of all of them about the importance of investing," concluded Helfa.

Edwin J. Sebayang as Director of MNC AM who is also a resource person at this webinar, explained the material about the importance of investing and mutual funds can be an alternative choice for students.
