Jakarta, 30 September 2020 - MNC Asset Management continues to improve brand awareness and capital market awareness. Therefore, comprehensive and objective education is needed to customers. MNC Asset Management also successfully held a webinar series 2 with the theme "The Impact of the Covid19 Pandemic on the Bond Market in Q4 2020" which was held on Tuesday (29/9/2020). The event, which was attended by most of the institutional customers, discussed in detail the opportunities and challenges of bond investment, especially in the fourth quarter of 2020.
Apart from increasing brand awareness, this series of webinar is also a step for MNC Asset to provide views for the general public and customers regarding capital market movements in a comprehensive and objective manner so that customers and the public have good fundamentals for investing in mutual funds.
"Indonesia´s economic status, which is almost certain to be in recession and various stimulus for economic recovery policies launched by the government, have more or less affected the bond market as a whole, especially state bonds," said MNC Asset Management Chief Marketing Officer Dimas Aditia Ariadi, Tuesday (29/9/ 2020).
With this sentiment, he added, bond investment based on government bonds can be a safe haven option in the midst of the prolonged Covid-19 pandemic. On the same occasion, M. Sugiarto as the speaker in this webinar said that in the midst of this prolonged pandemic, investment in fixed income mutual funds based on government bonds could be an option. "Because, there are at least 4 opportunities that will make bond yields attractive, namely the BI 7 Day Repo rate is still likely to go down, the global interest rate trend is still at a low level, government aid funds that help increase public consumption and vaccine tests are starting to reap good results. This causes foreign fund inflows to enter emerging markets," he explained.
The webinar series 2 will be continued as a series of webinar series that will continue to be conducted throughout the Financial Inclusion Month (BIK) October. At least there will be several more webinars that will collaborate with regulators and other capital market players. It is hoped that this webinar can become financial literacy in the midst of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
