Jakarta, 29 July 2021 - According to Financial Services Authority (OJK) records, the level of financial inclusion or access to formal financial institutions in Indonesia grew rapidly from 59.7% in 2013 to 76.19% in 2019. From 76.19% In this case, access to banking financial institutions dominates with a portion of 73.88%. While 26.12% is financial access to other formal financial institutions.
In the capital market sector, the level of financial inclusion in 2019 only reached 1.55% of the 26.12% portion. The low number of financial inclusion in the capital market sector indicates that Indonesian people´s access to capital market financial products is still low.
Departing from this fact, MNC Asset Management (MNC AM) which is a business unit of PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP) under the auspices of the MNC Group which is engaged in mutual funds, collaborated with the student organization AIESEC UI to hold a webinar entitled "Innovative Financial Inclusion in a Pandemic”.

"Seeing the fact that the number of financial inclusion for capital market products is still low, we are moved to provide education about financial inclusion, especially in the capital market sector together with friends from the University of Indonesia," said MNC AM Business Manager, Annafrid Nikijuluw in Jakarta, Thursday ( 29/7/2021).
Annafrid, who will also be the speaker at the event, added that this activity can also increase MNC AM´s brand awareness.
