Jakarta, September 1, 2021 - Success held a webinar market outlook, a subsidiary of PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP) and under the auspices of the MNC Group which is engaged in the mutual fund industry, MNC Asset Management (MNC AM), providing comprehensive exposure regarding market conditions in the fourth quarter of 2021.
In the webinar with theme “Could Indonesia Survive Amidst of the Covid-19 Pandemic?”
In this regard, MNC AM emphasized that in the midst of incessant vaccinations carried out by the Indonesian government and the world as well as the increasingly controlled daily positive cases and death rates in Indonesia, the government will gradually relax related to the PPKM policy.
Ipan Samuel as the Head of Investment of MNC AM who was the speaker at the webinar stated that with the relaxation of PPKM and vaccinations that were continuously intensified, it would automatically improve the economy gradually.
"With the gradual relaxation of PPKM,with increasing vaccinations, it is likely that economic growth will increase towards the end of the year," said Ipan. Therefore, he continued, to maintain stability in returns, customers are expected to be able to enter money market instruments and fixed income such as MNC Dana Lancar or MNC Dana SBN.
"Although the Indonesian economy is predicted to improve in the fourth quarter, volatility is still possible, so it is better for us to enter low risk instruments until the end of the year," said Ipan.
This was also agreed by the CMO of MNC AM, Dimas Aditia Ariadi. According to Dimas, money market and fixed-income mutual fund instruments are still a safe haven in the midst of Indonesia´s economic conditions which will improve but are still overshadowed by a surge in Covid-19 cases in several other countries.
"We strongly recommend that customers by the end of the year enter MNC Dana Lancar money market mutual funds or MNC Dana SBN fixed income mutual funds," said Dimas. He also added that the tapering issue from the Fed was the right moment to buy SBN through MNC Dana SBN mutual funds.
